Local Nets

Practice your communication skills and test your radios often by participating in Nets.  Or, take your skills to a new level and participate as Net Control.  Contact the Radio Officer in your area if you are interested in running a net.

Countywide

  • The local Contra Costa County Emergency Communications Nets are held on Thursday nights.  After the local nets, there is a countywide net held on the WA6HAM linked system at 1920 hours.  The system is 147.735 (-) central and East, 145.41 (-) South and 145.49 (-) West county.  (All have pl 107.2)
  • There is a High Frequency Emergency Communications Net on the first Thursday of each month, at 8:00 pm.  The frequency is approximately 3.890 MHz and varies according to band use.
  • The Contra Costa Repeater Association net is held at 7:35 p.m. Mondays.  It features the Amateur Radio NEWSLINE program.

  • The Mt. Diablo Amateur Radio Club Net is held at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays.

Central County

  • The Central County Emergency Communications Net is held at 1900 hours.

  • The East County Emergency Communications Net is held at 1900 hours and is run in conjunction with the Delta Amateur Radio Club net.
