Basic Training - *RACES Requirement*
April 17
8 am - 12 pm - All New Basic Training 2010, an overview of Emergency Communications in Contra Costa County.
Includes training on message handling, net operations and protocols, frequencies to be used, repeater usage and protocols, and simplex ops.
(Successful completion of this course fulfills one of the RACES membership training requirements.)
Reminder: We are tracking participation for all FEMA training courses. Bring a copy of your FEMA training transcript and/or ICS Certificates to the training. (ICS 100, ICS 200 & NIMS 700 are RACES requirements, but we will track all certs achieved)
